Marcus Kaiser / View West

Marcus Kaiser / View West

Marcus' image was shot with a Pinhole Camera and can be found on the to Pinhole Resources Gallery. I think this is an interesting shot because it gives the impression that you are seeing something few others have seen. It feels like you are looking through a key hole or looking out from inside a cave. I also has the feeling of the old west  Marcus Kaiser actually used holes in the Berlin Wall as pinholes and photographed both East and West Berlin  More information about Pinhole can be found here.

Extra Credit: Go to Wikipedia's Pinhole Camera entry. When was the first Pinhole Camera used? How was an early image from ancient China described? Where is the World's largest Pinhole Camera and how was the print made?

Digital Interview - Lucy Lui Welch

Lucy Lui Welch, 2 years old,
Lucy’s favorite class is Parkour Class. She likes it because she gets to run around and jump onto things. She also gets to jump off of things and run rally fast.

Lucy’s least favorite word is ‘NO!’ Lucy loves to hike with her mommy, Ms Welch. It make her really, really happy? Possums and Pigeons are her pet peeves. She does not like it when they steal her food. Lucy loves the sound of keys jangling, because it usually means she gets to go for a walk.

Lucy hates the sounds Pigeons make. Lucy’s favorite word is walk. Lucy wants to be a police dog when she grows up. She does not want to work at a veterinary hospital. When Lucy gets to Heaven, she wants to hear the words “Good Girl.”

Lucy lives in a house in Oakland, California with her mom. They hope to one day live on a big ranch in the country with a lot of animals Lucy can herd.
